Appleton Bicycle Shop opened in 1939, on Soldiers Square.
Founder, Clarence
Hinzman, did all general repairs and sold Schwinn bicycles for $18.95.
Still family-owned and operated by granddaughter Gwen, with five generations of family working in the business.
The Hinzman
family has been determined to always provide great customer service before and after a sale.
This commitment
has solidified Appleton Bicycle Shop as a unique family-owned and operated retail store.
The Hinzman family has been building, repairing, and selling bicycles in the Fox Cities for 80 years.
They owe their longevity to
loyal customers, good quality bikes, great service, and caring employees.
Daddy's Little Girl
Always fun loving and energetic.
As one generation passed the torch to the next.
Clock on the wall is still there.
Change is coming or is it?
When history and bikes come together, Gwen gets excited.
Working with others to reach important goals.
Great group of kids for our Bike Club.
Couple that trike races together, stays together.
Caring Employees
