Appleton Bicycle Shop opened in 1939 in a small building on Soldiers Square.
Founder, Clarence
Hinzman, did all general repairs and sold Schwinn bicycles for $18.95.
Still family-owned and operated by granddaughter Gwen, the Hinzman family has been determined to
provide great customer service before and after a sale.
This commitment has solidified Appleton Bicycle Shop as a unique family-owned and operated retail store.
The Hinzman family has been building, repairing, and selling bicycles in the Fox Cities for 84 years.
They owe their longevity to
loyal customers, quality bikes, great service, and caring employees.
