Appleton Bicycle Shop opened in
1939, in Soldiers Square. Founder, Clarence
Hinzman, did all general repairs and sold
Schwinn bicycles for $18.95. Now in its fourth
generation and still family owned and operated
by granddaughter Gwen. The Hinzman
family's determination to always provide great
customer service before and after a sale,
has solidified Appleton Bicycle Shop as a unique
family owned and operated retail store.
The Hinzman family has been building,
repairing, and selling bikes in the Fox Cities
for almost 80 years. They owe their longevity to
loyal customers, good quality bikes and caring
about customers.
Daddy's Little Girl
Always fun loving and energetic.
As one generation passed the torch to the next.
Clock on the wall is still there.
Change is coming or is it?
When history and bikes come together, Gwen gets excited.
Working with others to reach important goals.
We will add more pictures about our 78+ years!
